The California Youth Soccer Association (CYSA) is a not-for-profit corporation supported through player registration fees, league fees, sponsorships and donations. CYSA is divided into nine Districts. District IX covers the counties of Lassen, Modoc, Plumas, Shasta, Siskiyou, Tehama, and Trinity. Our goal is to provide an opportunity for youth players of all levels of skill to participate in soccer programs. The next District IX Board of Directors meeting has been scheduled for Saturday, February 6, 2010. This meeting will have an earlier than normal start time to accommodate the National "D" Coaching Course being held that day at the Soccer Park and will begin at 9 am. The weekends of January 29-31 and February 5-7, 2010 will see the National D Coaching License course come to District IX. The course will be held at the Oxford Suites and the Redding Soccer Park in Redding.
Applications are due by Jan 8, 2010. All applicants must meet the CYSA eligibility requirements to participate and must have completed the E/D Course, prior to attending the D. Candidates may complete the 'Course Application' and e-mail to kstewart@sebinc.net to verify eligibility prior to submitting all forms and course fees, however candidates will not be registered into the course until course fees and original documents are received by the District.
